The mission of Veterans Services is to ensure that Washington County Veterans and their families receive all entitlements provided by Federal and State law.  A Veterans Service Coordinator is the advocate for Veterans, their families, and survivors, and we strive to achieve the highest quality service possible, free of charge.

A Veterans Service Coordinator has an understanding of the problems which confront Veterans, widows, widowers, and their children.  We know the extent, the meaning, and the application of Federal Veterans laws (statutes and regulations) passed in the interest of Veterans and their dependents.

We assist in filing initial Federal VA claims for compensation, pension, other benefits, and as needed, we represent our Veterans through the appeal process leading to the Board of Veterans Appeals.
